Trenca Ready for Ransomville Speedway During Patriot Sprint Tour Event

Inside Line Promotions – FONDA, N.Y. (May 29, 2019) – Joe Trenca continues to at least have a share of the lead in the Patriot Sprint Tour championship standings.

Trenca entered a series event last Saturday at Fonda Speedway tied atop the standings. He won a heat race from the pole position and redrew the No. 5 to line up fifth for the A Main. Unfortunately, inclement weather invaded the area as he was climbing into his race car and the feature was rained out.

Next up for the Mucci Motorsports driver and the series is a show this Friday at Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, N.Y.

“The last time I was there I destroyed a car,” he said. “It hasn’t been the best, but I’m excited to go there. I like the place. I just haven’t had good luck. I feel like we’ve improved 100 times since the last time we’ve been there.”

Trenca has competed at the track at total of three times – twice in 360ci sprint car competition and once in a 410ci sprint car. He placed 12th during his debut in 2015 and was 15th in 2017 during the 360 races.

Trenca is off to the best start of his career. He’s produced a pair of top fives and three top 10s in his first four races.

“Not racing a bunch has been kind of refreshing as much as I never thought I’d say that,” he said. “Every time I go to the track I’m refreshed. We’re having fun and our confidence level is high this year. I’ve been driving better and the car has been at least 90 percent every time it’s on the track.”
