Fonda Speedway Awards Banquet Set for Sunday, September 14 on Fairgrounds
FONDA, NY – With Benjamin Moore Paints Championship Night looming this Saturday (August 16), Fonda Speedway management has set plans for its 2025 Awards Banquet.
For the first time since promoter Brett Deyo took over the Track of Champions in 2019, the year-end celebration will take place during Fonda 200 Weekend on Sunday, September 14.
The Fonda Fair’s renovated Entertainment Building will serve as the backdrop for the event. Doors will open at 1 p.m., with dinner at 2 p.m. and awards to follow immediately.
Dinner will be prepared by Brooks House of BBQ of Oneonta, N.Y., and includes a BBQ half chicken, two sides, dessert and soda/water/tea. A cash bar will also be available.

Drivers to be recognized include: top-10 Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, top-10 Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman, top-10 Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks, top-10 Montgomery County Office for Aging Limited Sportsman and top-10 Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
F.X. Caprara Thunder on the Thruway Series top-10 finishers with perfect attendance will also be recognized.
Thunder on the Thruway Series champions were crowned last Saturday (Aug. 9), with Rocky Warner (Modified), Chad Edwards (Sportsman) and Beau Ballard (Pro Stock).
Driver and/or car owner attendance is mandatory to receive awards.
In the event of Sunday (Sept. 14) being needed for the Fonda 200 due to weather, the Awards Banquet time schedule will be adjusted.

Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events. Fonda Speedway is located on the Montgomery County Fairgrounds off New York State Thruway Exit No. 28 at 21 S. Bridge Street Fonda, NY 12068.
