After Saturday Rainout, Five Events Scheduled for Fonda Speedway in June

FONDA, NY – Another Saturday, another rainout.

With heavy rain sitting over New York State’s Mohawk Valley, the Fonda Speedway management team canceled Saturday night’s (May 31) program at the Track of Champions. The Stretch’s Lawn and Landscape-sponsored event was to include all weekly divisions and the CRSA Sprint Cars.

Fonda Speedway and CRSA will look to reschedule the event, should schedules on both sides permit.

Point leaders in a rain-marred 2025 season are Jack Lehner (Amsterdam Truck Center Modified), Chad Edwards (Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman), Kenny Gates (Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks), Randy Cosselman (Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman), Jay Ingersoll (Fonda Fair Four Cylinder – Dual Cam) and Ken Hollenbeck (Fonda Fair Four Cylinder – Single Cam).

Attention now turns to a jam-packed month of June with five events scheduled.

• Saturday, June 7 – Randall Implements presents Meet & Greet Night – All divisions (NYSSCA Awards to be distributed)
• Saturday, June 14 – M2 Metals presents RUSH Late Models – All divisions
• Wednesday, June 18 – Rescheduled F.X. Caprara Car Companies Thunder on the Thruway Series: Modifieds $4,000 to win, Sportsman $1,500 to win, Pro Stocks $1,000 to win plus Four Cylinders and Crown Vics (Glen Ridge/Airborne/Devil’s Bowl rules)
• Saturday, June 21 – Parks Companies Night: Thunder on the Thruway Series Modifieds $4,000 to win, Sportsman $1,500 to win, Pro Stocks $1,000 to win plus Limited Sportsman and Four Cylinders – Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Racing Series
• Saturday, June 28 – Shepherd Security & Communication Night - $5 Grandstand Admission – Bill Ag Memorial Elimination Races – All divisions

Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
