Back for Redemption: Ginger Billy Appears at Fonda Speedway Saturday

FONDA, NY – He’s coming “back for redemption.”

Internet sensation and nationally known comedian Ginger Billy appears at Fonda Speedway this Saturday, July 27 as part of One Zee Tees/AIM Autism Autism Awareness Night on the famed Fonda Fairgrounds.

Saturday will mark the second appearance by Ginger Billy at the Track of Champions in 2024. He will return to the seat of a custom-painted, Josh Kane-fielded Limited Sportsman after meeting fans pre-race.

Ginger Billy is scheduled for an autograph session inside Gate 2 starting at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Gate 2 entrance will begin selling tickets one hour early at 3 p.m.

He will also be present for the AIM Autism Chicken Barbecue taking place at the Fonda Fair Entertainment Building from 1-4 p.m. to include chicken dinners, a dunk tank, bounce houses, music, raffles and more.

In his prior Fonda on-track competition, Ginger Billy suffered a transmission failure. He’ll be back for more Saturday.

On the track, the CRSA Sprint Cars make their first Fonda Speedway appearance of 2024, joined by the Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman, Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.

Grandstand admission is $15 (Adults), $13 (Seniors) and Kids 11 and under are FREE. All grandstand tickets can be purchased the day of the event at the gates (cash only, ATMs are on-site).

Infield parking is $75 and includes four passes. Parking can be purchased in advance online at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/1549/tickets/1396506.

Since 1953, the “Track of Champions” Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. Under the management of BD Motorsports Media LLC, the speedway will operate weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
