Utica-Rome Speedway to Operate Both May 17 & 18; Fonda Speedway Reopens May 25

FONDA, NY & VERNON, NY – BD Motorsports Media LLC, promoter of Fonda Speedway and Utica-Rome Speedway, has announced a schedule change for this weekend: Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18.

There will be no racing at Fonda Speedway this Saturday, May 18 as track work continues. The next scheduled event at Fonda takes place on Saturday, May 25.

For this week only, Utica-Rome Speedway will operate on Saturday (May 17) and Saturday (May 18).

Friday, May 17 – Kubota High Limit Racing Sprint Cars and 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds presented by Christian Fabrication, Scenic View Campground and Broedel Fuel Group

Gates Open: 4 p.m. – Hot Laps: 6:30 p.m. – Racing: 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand Admission: $40 (Adults) – $20 Kids (ages 6-12) – Children ages 5 and under FREE

Pit Admission: $45 (Non-Members) - $40 (Utica-Rome Members) - $10 Kids (ages 6-12) - $2 Children (ages 5 and under)

Saturday, May 18 – 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Taylor’s Trailers Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman, Fonda Fair Four Cylinders and Slingshots (Allstar & Junior) – Saturday’s event is non-points, draw/redraw

Gates Open: 4 p.m. – Hot Laps: 6 p.m. – Racing: 7 p.m.

Grandstand Admission: $15 (Adults) - $13 (Seniors ages 65 and up) – Kids 11 and under FREE

*$5 Off Grandstand Admission with Friday High Limit Wristband

Pit Admission: $40 (Non-Member) - $35 (Member) - $10 Kids (ages 6-12) - $2 Children ages 5 and under

Fonda Speedway Season Passes and Pit Licenses will be accepted at Utica-Rome Speedway this weekend.

Fonda Speedway, undergoing extensive surface work, swings its gates back open on Saturday, May 25 with Upstate Spray Foam Night to include the Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman, Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks ($1,000 to win), Montgomery County Office of the Aging Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.

Gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

The Jumpin’ Jack Johnson Memorial and Dollar Night promotions will be rescheduled.

Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing.
