Fonda Speedway 2024 Early Season Schedule Changes: No Racing Saturday, April 20

While track crews have put in overtime at Fonda Speedway for the last three weeks, Mother Nature has not been cooperative. Massive gains have been made with removal of stone from the surface, grading, tilling, discing, and packing – however, due to the rainfall, the lower lanes of the speedway remain soft and will not allow for cars on the track this weekend. Dry days starting on Saturday should alleviate this issue.

With that said, here are the updates to the 2024 schedule of events…
There will be no racing this Saturday, April 20.

Open Practice has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 23. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Cars on track from 6-9 p.m.

Opening Night will take place on Saturday, April 27. The opener will be the scheduled program for April 27 on the original schedule.

The Jumpin’ Jack Johnson Memorial will be held on Thursday, May 23 as a kick-off to Memorial Day Weekend. This move was made after extensive discussion with Ronnie Johnson to make sure this special event is run on the best possible surface and Fonda Speedway Season Pass holders do not lose out on an event.
